New Grant Management Online Information System  -The Office of Community Development is developing a grant management online information system scheduled to be operating by July 1, 2014 – the start of program year FY 2014. The first phase of the new system is expected to be functioning by March 2014 and fully deployed by May 2014. The new web-based system is designed to enable grantees to submit program applications online, to manage required fiscal operations, as well as to submit required reporting systems. An overview of the online platform will be conducted on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 and will feature: • A visual walkthrough of first-phase features and capabilities. • Information on system requirements. • Discussion on assigning necessary user roles within your organization. • Goals for future phases. • Open forum for Q&A and suggestions for additional features. Two sessions will be held in the morning and another in the afternoon. Grantees that receive funds from the Office of Community Development are encouraged to attend or send a representative to one of the sessions on January 28 at the Embassy Suites in Dublin. The morning session will occur 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the afternoon session at 1:00-4:00 p.m. Registration on=line at occd.org.
