OCCD Summer Annual Meeting

Please note registration deadline for Summer Annual Meeting is Friday, July 13, 2018 and Block Room Rate deadline at Castaway Bay is Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Rate:  $129.00/night plus tax - does not include park pass (if you stay at Castaway Bay, indoor water park at Castaway Bay can be purchased for $10/person per day)  (See Cedar Point Rates below)

Block Room Rate Deadline:  June 26, 2018 - space is limited; reserve your room early

For those who wish to pay by check:  Castaway Bay will accept a check for pre-payment but you will not be able to pay by check at check-in.  The full stay will need to be paid prior to your arrival.  The reservation department will instruct the you as to where to send the check when you book the room(s).

 Important Information:  

  • Individuals, not group client, are responsible for reservations, deposits and cancellations.
  • First night full payment due at the time of booking.
  • A $50.00 fee applies to any cancellation.  First night deposit is forfeited for any cancellation received within 72 hours of arrival.  
  • Check payments will not be accepted at the hotel front desk.  If you are required to pay by check, you must pre-pay in full with our reservations department prior to your arrival.  Detailed instructions will be provided at the time of booking.  The front desk CANNOT accept checks for any payments.

  •  Enjoy a downtown walking tour of scenic downtown Sandusky.  Points of interest will include new City Hall, new entertainment establishments and proposed residential developments

  •  Take a short bus ride to the eastern edge of Sandusky to visit three separate but integrated projects; the newly constructed regional outdoor facility, Sports Force Complex, which was funded by an increased bed tax and private funds, Cedar Point Indoor Sports Facility, which will be funded by the increased bed tax, private funds and will utilize tax increment financing, and lastly, Landing Park, a 27-acre nature preserve to include recreational amenities and provide public access to Sandusky Bay.
