Demolition and Site Revitalization Program Webinar Set for Oct. 16

The Ohio Department of Development invites you to participate in an educational webinar on Oct. 16 regarding updates to the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program in preparation for the upcoming grant cycle.

The Webex webinar will cover updates to program guidelines, eligibility requirements, and the application process authorized in House Bill 33, followed by a question-and-answer session with program staff.

HB 33, also known as the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 state operating budget, provides an additional $150 million for the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, which is designed to help local communities demolish dilapidated commercial and residential buildings. 

Since its inception, the program has funded 3,699 projects in 87 Ohio counties.

Updated program guidelines, as well as the list of all 88 county Lead Entities for the program, are available on the Development website, along with other resources.
