Membership in OCCD provides an instant network to hundreds of Community Development Professionals and Agencies across the State of Ohio. OCCD provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences among members, HUD representatives and State officials. You will find that OCCD members enjoy a congenial, and productive association.
Benefits of Membership Include:
- A membership and staff that understands and focuses on the unique challenges of Ohio communities that administer housing, community and economic development programs. OCCD represents its members by engaging state and federal officials to discuss and provide feedback regarding policy impact on agencies at a local level.
- A network of colleagues who are committed to sharing their experience and knowledge with one another -- whether through OCCD newsletter submissions, alerts or workshops.
- Professional development- for over 40 years, OCCD has provided a forum for training and technical assistant to local development professionals. These meetings include dialog with federal and state officials to remain current on the latest development trends, grant regulations, pending legislation, and housing strategies.
- Leadership development opportunities through OCCD committee and board participation.
Types of Membership:
Full Membership | Any political subdivision, governmental agency, non-profit organization or consultant working in the State of Ohio having an interest in community development, housing, economic development, and related activities shall be Full Subscription Members. Full Members in good standing by payment of dues are entitled to attend meetings, vote, hold office in the Association and have full access to the OCCD web site.
Dues are $275 per year.
Ohio Conference of Community Development Public Service Scholarship
The scholarship program was established by OCCD to honor two men who dedicated their careers to Public Service.
