From Our Training Coordinator

Adaptation………my word for August/September.

So did you join us in Sandusky for the OCCD 2018 Summer Annual?  IF so you enjoyed informative sessions and a hot, hot, hot walking tour and bus ride that were so worth it!  The bus did have air conditioning and was the wise choice to follow the walking tour!  Hours after we left on Thursday, storms rolled through causing structural damage to some of the buildings.  And our guest speaker, Linda Thompson, Senior Director of Advocacy and Federal Programs for the Council of State Community Development Agencies (COSCDA,) had her flight cancelled flying in from D.C., but was placed on the next flight.  Going back, once again she experienced a cancelled flight and spent the night in Cleveland.  I still have no control over the weather.

Next July, we return to Columbus for the OCCD 2019 Summer Annual – July 24-25, 2019.
